Setting Intentions for the Back Half of Summer

We’re rounding into the last stretch of summer, which makes this a natural point to pause and reset intentions for what’s left of the season.

Unlike New Year’s resolutions, which often carry a lot of pressure and rarely stick, a mid-season intention check-in is lower stakes and more honest. What did you actually want out of this summer, back in June, and how does that compare to where things stand now? Some of that might feel abandoned. Some of it might feel more relevant than ever.

This isn’t about guilt over what didn’t happen. It’s about redirecting the energy that’s left in the season toward what actually still matters, rather than letting the remaining weeks pass on autopilot.

Take a few minutes today to name one thing you’d like the rest of summer to include. Small is fine. The goal is intention, not ambition.
